    First prototype was just a vibrating box. But it was not heavy enough to penetrate into the medium. It has just stayed on the surface

    Second prototype was a cylindrical probe with a conical head. It was heavier than the previous prototype. The other one was a capsule shaped probe which is also heavier to sink into the medium

    In this prototype, augers were introduced into the design to enable the robot to penetrate and maneuver through the sludge.

    Concept development
    In this prototype, augers were improved for better rotation and rotary blades were added to the design to be have yaw movement
